mixandgrind.in Picks: Best Xbox One Steering Wheels In India

We have crafted this list of Top 10 Best Xbox One Steering Wheels available in India, along with a quick buyer’s guide to help you identify a suitable product for yourself and your family!

1. Logitech G923 steering wheel & pedals

Logitech G923 steering wheel & pedals

Logitech is a good place to start if you want a high-quality and reliable Xbox steering wheel. They’ve been making racing game accessories for decades, and their technology has only improved. The Logitech G923 is one of their best designs to date, and it’s a clear winner.

The G923 caters brilliantly to both entry-level players looking to dip their toes in the water of sim racing and hardcore racers who have been doing it for some time. The new TrueForce technology in the G923 also provides perhaps the most immersion of any wheel on the market, while keeping the price point below upmarket costs.

If you’re new to the scene, a price of £350 / $400 may seem high, but it’s less than its direct competitors and one of the best in terms of performance. It’s well-made, with premium stitching around the leather, and it’s the closest you can get to experiencing what it’s like to be behind the wheel of a supercar, F1 car, or rally car without leaving the comfort of your desk – or forking out a lot of money for a full sim-rig set-up. If you have the cash, the G923 is a stunning piece of gear and a must-have if you don’t already own something similar.

Specification of Logitech G923:

  • Rotation: 900°
  • Buttons: 16
  • Pedals: 3
  • Adjustable Pedals: No
  • Compatibility: Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One / PC
Pros
  • Direct competitors are more costly.
  • TrueForce gives me the creeps.
  • G Hub is a fantastic piece of software.
Cons
  • There is no handbrake input, and there is no stick shift.
You Save : ₹ 6,100
Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals, TRUEFORCE 1000 Hz Force Feedback, Responsive Driving Design, Dual Clutch Launch Control, Genuine Leather Wheel Cover for PS5, PS4, PC - Black
  • TRUEFORCE: Unleash your passion for racing with high-definition force feedback. TRUEFORCE connects directly to game engines, processing at 4000 times a second to produce next-gen realism and detail in...
  • Programmable dual clutch: Get off the starting line faster with maximum traction and minimum smoke in supported games
  • Control the race: 24-point selector, RPM LEDs, integrated PS4 or PC game controls, and progressive brake spring all help you maintain control of your vehicle at high speeds in supported games
  • Crafted with Premium Materials: refreshed Logitech G design with brushed metal wheel, hand-stitched leather wheel cover, and polished metal pedals
  • Compatible with most racing games on PS5 and PS4 with select titles specially designed for TRUEFORCE.

2. Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider

Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider

This is the most affordable option, but it’s still far superior to a pad for driving games because it includes a wheel and pedals for progressive steering and brake/throttle inputs. Just keep in mind that it’s better suited to casual arcade racers than true simulations (though it’ll still be a blast with Forza).

The most important thing to note here is that the unit is missing Force Feedback. The steering wheel has ‘linear resistance,’ which means it gets harder to turn the more you turn it. That’s true, but instead of a motor relaying what’s going on in the game to your hands, this is just a simple bungee cord that doesn’t translate any of the action into extra movement. It’s also worth noting that between full locks, the wheel rotates less, resulting in less precision (but also more responsive steering compared to your movements). Although less realistic, arcade racing games benefit from it.

As a result, the wheel feels less solid and realistic, though the design is still racy and comfortable, as it is based on a real Ferrari wheel. It, too, has long-pronged paddle shifters, allowing you to shift gears with your fingertips while racing, just like real racers.

While the brake pedal here provides progressive input, the pedal set is less well-made than others on this list, and you will notice the difference. However, controlling brakes and acceleration with your feet rather than triggers on a pad is fantastic, so if you want to feel like a racing driver while playing your favourite racing games, this will suffice.

Specification of Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider:

  • Rotation: 240º
  • Pedals: 2
  • Buttons: 15
  • Adjustable pedals: Yes
  • Compatibility: Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One
Pros
  • It’s reasonably priced.
  • Provides reasonable control.
Cons
  • It’s not as enjoyable to use.
You Save : ₹ 2,500

3. Logitech G920

Logitech G920

If you’re looking for a slightly less expensive Logitech Xbox steering wheel, the G920 is more frequently discounted than its more expensive sibling. You’ll still get force feedback driving, but it won’t include Logitech’s patented TrueForce technology, as well as dual-clutch assistance, a progressive brake pedal, and some dedicated selection and adjustment buttons. If you’re looking for a good deal, however, the Logitech G920 is the way to go.

As you control the vehicle, the Force Feedback provides strong, smooth forces pushing and pulling against your hands. It has a slightly smoother feel to it than the Thrustmaster TX, but it also feels less realistic. It’s more of a deluxe game controller than a full-fledged steering wheel replica. It’s not as powerful as the Fanatec servos, but you’ll still notice the steering going light when you understeer, clatter across kerbs, and feel cars rubbing against you in tight packs. It’s really nice.

This is a very comfortable wheel to hold, but unlike other similarly priced units, it isn’t interchangeable, so you’re stuck with the one that came in the box. That’s not a bad thing, though: the paddle shifters are comfortable to use, the fatter rim adds to the smooth driving sensation, and the raised up profiling of the buttons makes for a wheel that’s both stylish and practical for gaming.

This is the only real flaw in the device. The brake pedal on the unit we tested was stiff right out of the box, making it difficult to apply 100 percent braking without standing on the pedal with your entire weight. The issue appears to be with the rubber stopper, which is supposed to give you a realistic sense of resistance, but some units’ rubber appears to be too hard. It can be tweaked and improved over time, but the fact remains that other units provide a more enjoyable gaming experience right out of the box. Still, if you can get the brakes to work properly, the rest of the unit is a steal at this price, especially considering the quality of the product you’re getting.

Specification of Logitech G920 :

  • Wheel rotation: 900º
  • Pedals: 3
  • Buttons: 13
  • Adjustable pedals: Yes
  • Compatibility: Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One / PC
Pros
  • A good value for money wheel.
  • It’s a pleasure to drive with.
  • Designed specifically for Xbox.
Cons
  • To begin with, the pedals are a little stiff.

  • Built to last: Durable solid steel ball bearings, stainless steel pedals and hand-stitched leather wheel grip

4. Thrustmaster TMX

Thrustmaster TMX

This is Xbox’s entry-level Force Feedback wheel, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have a bad time with it. It actually means you get the feel of an arcade cabinet in your home, as well as access to advanced features in your racing games that you previously didn’t have, and a sense of what it’s like to drive a car.

Obviously, the servo here isn’t up to the standards of the top-of-the-line products elsewhere on this list, but you can feel forces pushing and pulling on the wheel as you race. Nothing beats seeing another car approaching you and then feeling the nudge through your hands as you drive – it’s as if the game is actually taking place. Games nowadays have a lot of detail in their Force Feedback systems, so the software, rather than the hardware, is responsible for a lot of the effect’s quality. Even their entry-level gear is worth playing because Thrustmaster is a respected brand.

The layout of this wheel is very similar to that of the top-tier model’s Leather Racing Edition, which is perfectly functional but lacks buttons that are easily accessible under your thumbs – you must reach for them. It’s not ideal when your handbrake isn’t the easiest button to press, especially when you’re already turning the wheel. However, it’s a solid and otherwise pleasant-feeling design, and the long-pronged paddle shifters make changing gears a breeze, whether you’re holding your wheel in the 10-to-two or the racier quarter-to-three position. It won’t stand up to as much abuse as more expensive wheels, but if you drive carefully, it’ll last a long time.

Regrettably, not so good. Metal and a clutch pedal are required for a good pedal unit, but this is a plasticky two-pedal affair. It still allows you to vary the amount of throttle and brake input, which means you’re less likely to lock the wheels under braking or spin the startline wheels. Controlling the game won’t be an issue because it’s still a lot better than using a standard control pad (though Xbox’s haptic triggers are pretty good at doing the same things). Just don’t expect it to feel like you’re walking around in a real car – there isn’t one.

Specification of Thrustmaster TMX :

  • Wheel rotation: 900º
  • Pedals: 3
  • Buttons: 12
  • Adjustable pedals: Yes
  • Compatibility: Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One / PC
Pros
  • Excellent value for money.
  • Beautiful force feedback.
Cons
  • With the basic version, the pedals have a cheap feel to them.

5. Hori Racing Wheel Overdrive

Hori Racing Wheel Overdrive

The Hori Overdrive might be the best option for you if you’re worried about the initial outlay of one of the more premium Xbox steering wheels on this list – especially if you’re just getting your feet wet in the world of racing wheels. There aren’t many premium features here, but the wheel and pedals have plenty of surface level adjustments.

You won’t get force feedback here, which isn’t a deal breaker (especially if you’re just getting started in the racing world), but it is a trade-off for the super low price. There’s plenty to like here, with an adjustable dead zone, plenty of compliments on its build quality, and still 270o of turn.

Specification of Hori Racing Wheel Overdrive :

  • Wheel rotation: 270º
  • Pedals: 2
  • Buttons: 18
  • Adjustable pedals: Yes
  • Compatibility: Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One / PC
Pros
  • Also, a great price for PC compatibility.
  • There are numerous buttons that can be customised.
Cons
  • Smaller than some higher-end wheels.

  • 270 degree turn radius with adjustable output options
  • Mount security with sturdy clamp system

6. Fanatec CSL Elite bundle

Fanatec CSL Elite bundle

Although Fanatec’s products are the most expensive on this list, their newer, more affordable offering is absolutely stunning and leaves the competition in the dust when it comes to Force Feedback strength and attention to detail. This wheelbase is compatible with Xbox One, PC, and even PS4, allowing you to spend the money you would have spent on multiple units on better build quality.

The Elite Wheelbase+’s Force Feedback servo is incredibly powerful, shaking the entire racing seat you’re playing it on as you clatter around the streets of Monaco in F1 2017. The brushless motor provides smooth transitions between seamless force levels, and it comes with a table clamp, which is especially useful if you don’t have the funds for a custom-built rack.

The bundled-in wheel isn’t as fancy as some of Fanatec’s options, but it’s still a tough piece of kit with a built-in screen for data relay or customising the wheel’s various control parameters. Fanatec understands the needs and desires of sim racers, and customisation options abound, allowing you to customise the car control to your liking. And, of course, when it’s connected to the unit, it feels incredibly solid – this is ultra-deluxe gaming that’s getting dangerously close to the real thing.

It comes with the CSL Elite Pedals, which are the best in terms of control that I’ve used – including the more expensive ClubSport model. The angle of the accelerator pedal and the depth of travel are the most significant differences. It feels incredibly precise, allowing you to easily feed in the throttle or maintain mid-range revs through start sequences or long corners. The brake pedal is also just right – there’s a rubber stopper for resistance, but the sensitivity is exactly where you want it right out of the box, allowing for light dabs, firm braking, or stand-on-everything, wheels-locked-like-Sebastian Vettel levels of depression.

The heavy-duty metal housing feels really solid – the only flaw is that the pedalboard really needs to be mounted to a racing seat or at least something with a wide base – if it’s just loose on the floor, it can slide or even tip up if you’re too aggressive under braking. If you want the full simulation experience, there’s one more obvious flaw: the base set comes without a clutch pedal. However, you can purchase an optional ‘loadcell’ kit, which includes a resistance-based brake pedal and allows you to use the old pedal as a clutch instead.

Specification of Fanatec CSL Elite bundle :

  • Wheel rotation: 1080º
  • Pedals: 2
  • Buttons: 14
  • Adjustable pedals: Yes.
Pros
  • Quality that is unrivalled.
  • Excellent pedals.
  • Force feedback that is unrivalled.
Cons
  • It’s pricey, oh my god.

7. Thrustmaster T-GT

Thrustmaster T-GT

The Thrustmaster T300 RS and TX are Thrustmaster’s ‘default’ enthusiast racing wheels, and they’re some of the best out there. There’s now an even more expensive T-GT, but at 70k, it’s out of most people’s price ranges.

The new force feedback system is what makes the Thrustmaster T300 RS and its siblings so easy to recommend. It is not geared, instead relying on a series of belts driven by brushless motors. This gives it the ideal balance of power and smoothness, resulting in a level of realism and immersion that is hard to match for the price.

Any force feedback wheel will add a whole new level of fun to reasonably realistic racing games like Forza Motorsport and Driveclub, but these Thrustmasters are the obvious choice for the price. There’s a slight gnawing rumble as you fight against the wheel, which is the motor at work, but everything else is fantastic.

Specification of Thrustmaster T-GT :

  • Rotation: 1080 degrees.
  • Feedback type: Force Feedback.
  • Drive type: Belt system.
  • Compatibility: PS4/PC.
Pros
  • The force feedback is excellent.
  • Quiet.
  • Wheel covers of excellent quality.
Cons
  • Wheel diameter a little small.

  • The T-GT racing wheel is a powerhouse of highly innovative technologies resulting from in-depth research into all of the sensations required for an ultra-realistic racing experience

  • T-GT is also compatible with PC

8. Thrustmaster T150

Thrustmaster T150

While those with a lot of money should consider the T300 RS and its siblings, there is also a cheaper version that offers many of the same features for half the price.

So, how do the T150 and T300 RS differ? The main difference is that, while the T300 RS relies solely on belts for force feedback, the T150 employs both a helical gear system and a belt.

As expected, the effect is halfway between the Logitech G29 and the Logitech T300 RS. It’s smooth-ish, but not entirely, and you can feel the geared motor pulling against you when you take a fast corner.

However, given the price, the results are excellent.

However, parts that appear to be a little cheap in the more expensive Thrustmasters are even more so here. The Logitech wheel comes with all-plastic, flimsy pedals that are miles away from what you get with the Logitech wheel. Their low-resistance action makes them feel like arcade racer fare, but the force feedback is definitely worthy of the most introspective of realistic driving simulators.

The exterior of the steering wheel part is also made entirely of plastic, with no metal parts to make these wheels appear less toy-like. Behind the wheel, however, there are still metal spoke shifters that look like they belong on a sports car.

The Thrustmaster T150 is probably the best budget wheel around, with a lot of substance but no luxury touch. The T80 is an even cheaper model, but it’s not a force feedback model, so it’s in a different, lower league.

Specification of Thrustmaster T150 :

  • Rotation: 1080 degrees
  • Feedback type: Force Feedback
  • Drive type: Belt and gear
  • Compatibility: PS4/PS3/PC
Pros
  • Excellent value for money.
  • Force feedback is excellent.
Cons
  • Feels a little snooty.

9. Hori Apex

Hori Apex

The Hori Apex may appear to be similar to the other wheels on this page, but it is actually quite different. This isn’t a force feedback wheel; instead, it relies on rumble.

In a game like Project Cars, the Thrustmaster T150 will decimate the Hori in terms of gameplay quality. The Hori, on the other hand, is ideal for arcade racers, some of which only have rumble effects rather than force feedback. In a game like Need for Speed, the more expensive wheels are useless.

Hori isn’t one of them. When you drift, hit a barrier or another vehicle, or go over road markings, it rumbles, but you don’t have to fight with the steering wheel. Turns have a little resistance, and the wheel will right itself when you remove your hands, but there are no motors in the base fighting your arms.

As a result, the Hori is significantly lighter than any other wheel in this comparison. You’ll still need something to clamp it to, but this is the one wheel in this group that won’t look too bad if it isn’t given a proper frame or wheel stand.

It tries harder than the rest to put all the main PS4 buttons at your fingertips; there’s a pair of them right on the wheel rim itself. Clearly made for racers where you’ll use nitrous every 4.5 seconds, it tries harder than the rest to put all the main PS4 buttons at your fingertips. You can also change the D-pad or either of the analogue sticks to emulate the DualShock’s own D-Pad.

Sure, there are some good bits, especially at the lower price. The Hori Apex (along with the Hori Overdrive) is, without a doubt, the most toy-like wheel in this group. It has plastic gear shifters, inexpensive plastic pedals, and no upgradeable parts. It also rotates very slowly compared to the other wheels here, turning only 270 degrees instead of 900 or 1080.

Hori, on the other hand, was aiming for this – it’s an arcade equipment manufacturer, and this is clearly an arcade wheel. While the Logitech G29 may appear to be a toy, it is far superior to the no-name £30/$50 racing wheels you may have tried in the past.

Specification of Hori Apex :

  • Rotation: 270 degrees
  • Feedback type: N/A
  • Drive type: Belt
  • Compatibility: PS4/PS3/PC
Pros
  • Affordably priced.
  • Arcade racers will enjoy it.
Cons
  • No force feedback .
  • A lot lighter than the rest.

10. Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX

Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX

For two reasons, the Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX is an important racing wheel.

It’s Hori’s first force feedback wheel, and it’s the first time in a long time that a new competitor has entered this particular ring. For years, the only big names in mainstream wheels have been Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec. Hori can now be added to the list.

Hori hasn’t made a mistake here. There are no “bad” force feedback racing wheels, and the Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX is a huge step up from the RWA and other basic Hori models.

It may, however, have trouble competing with well-known lines like the Logitech G920/G923 and the excellent Thrustmaster T300 RS/TX.

The Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX, like Logitech’s wheels, uses a reliable but not entirely smooth geared force feedback. And, like the entry-level Thrustmaster sets, it has fairly basic pedals. We also found the force feedback to be a little weak, though newcomers to these wheels will likely be satisfied after adjusting in-game settings.

While the Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX does not have the best force feedback in the industry, it does provide the fundamental immersive upgrade that every “sim” racing game fan needs. When the tyres lose traction, you can feel it, and the powerful rumble effects do a good job of simulating road surfaces.

The Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX is a good option for Xbox gamers who want a wheel that is a step up from Hori’s non-force-feedback models, is simple to set up, and isn’t too expensive.

Specification of Hori Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX :

  • Rotation: 900 degrees.
  • Feedback type: Force Feedback.
  • Drive type: Gear-driven system.
  • Compatibility: Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Pros
  • A feeling of realism.
  • Customizable profiles that you can swap in and out quickly.
  • It’s light and simple to put together.
Cons
  • Limited force feedback torque
  • Plastic wheel rim

Buying guide for the Best Xbox One Steering Wheels

Choosing Racing Wheels: Considerations

There are a few standard features that all racing gamers appreciate, as with any Xbox One games and accessories. While the number of buttons, design, and materials vary from one brand to the next, features like compatibility must be consistent across all brands.

Shifters.

The best Xbox One shifter steering wheel is always simple to use. The shifters with two paddles behind the steering wheel are known as semi-automatic shifters. At the touch of a button, they shift gears up and down. Some starter packs also include manual shifters. Those who enjoy them may want to consider adding separate shifters to their gaming setup.

Compatibility.

The best computer steering wheel may also work with Xbox racing games and consoles. This is why many gamers prefer to buy multi-platform accessories to save money on their gaming devices. These accessories appear to be the least versatile of the bunch. However, Xbox steering wheels may now be compatible with PCs and PS4 consoles. Normally, they all connect quickly via USB.

Size and rotation.

The size and rotation of the steering wheel are important considerations for an active player. The sensitivity of the input increases as the degree of rotation increases. You can get a smaller wheel if you’re on a tight budget, and if money isn’t an issue, you can even get a replica of vehicle wheels.

Build quality.

Examine how durable and long-lasting the product is. If it’s a cheap model with poor build quality, you’ll have to replace it right away. So, look at the product’s material to see if it’s metal with a firm stitched leather exterior.

Pedals.

Pedals come standard on the majority of wheels. It’s worth double-checking, though, to make sure your package includes a pedal. Examine the materials used in the pedals as well. Plastic pedals have a short life expectancy. As a result, try to avoid it.

Clutch.

When looking for the best Xbox one steering wheel with clutch and shifter, the majority of people overlook this factor. You’ll get a true sense of what it’s like to drive a manual transmission car with the right clutch.

Rotation.

It’s possible that a low-cost racing simulator will only have limited rotation. This indicates that the wheel will not rotate beyond 270 degrees. However, even low-cost Xbox racing wheels can provide pleasant surprises.

Gamers can choose from a variety of racing accessories that rotate 900 degrees. This gives you a lot more control and a sense of driving in the real world. For most games, this may be excessive. However, racing simulators like Mud Runner benefit greatly from the increased versatility.

Answer:- Leather wheels are more expensive from Fanatec and Thrustmaster. The Logitech G29 includes a number of high-end features at no additional cost. 10. Which is better Logitech G29 or G920 ?

Answer:-The Logitech G920 is an improved version of the Logitech G29. However, it’s still a fantastic wheel, and it’s the only Logitech option for Xbox One users. In terms of overall performance, however, if you play on PC, you’d be better off with a G29.
