Pureit Classic G2 Mineral is a small water purifier with a 6-stage purification system. Unlike most Pureit RO+UV purifiers, this one is reasonably priced.
According to the manufacturer, this water purifier nearly doubles filter life and lowers maintenance costs to less than 50 paise per litre.
The filter life of this water purifier is around 6000 litres. Pureit Classic G2 Mineral also has a higher water recovery rate of up to 35 percent, compared to around 25 percent for standard RO water purifiers.

Pureit Classic G2 has a compact size and requires very little wall space. Two LED indicators on the front panel indicate storage tank full and SF/GKK change. 15 days before the sediment filter or Germkill Kit expires, the SF/GKK change indicator begins blinking. If the filter is not changed, the Auto shut-off feature turns off the water purification.
When it comes to filter replacement, the Sediment Filter should be cleaned/replaced every 6 months from the date of installation, depending on the quality of the input water, and the GKK should be replaced every 1 year from the date of installation.
We are also impressed by the purifier’s high-speed purification; it can purify up to 20 litres of water per hour, which is quite impressive.

Pureit Classic UV+ G2 Water Purifier Installation
- The purifier should be installed by a trained Pureit technician.
- Pureit Classic UV+ G2 has to be installed on the wall. In case you are using it in a table top condition, please either place its back touching fully on wall or otherwise hold it when you are operating any switch.
- Do not install the purification unit where it could freeze.
- Do not use an extension cord.
- Please ensure that the purifier is not installed near a cooking range.
- Do not install the purifier above an electric socket.
- Avoid sharp bends to the tube that is connected to the purifier.
- Install the purifier away from the sunlight.
FAQ’s about Pureit Classic UV+ G2 Water Purifier
How does Classic UV+ G2 purify water?
Classic UV+ G2 has a 4-stage purification system that ensures that you get “As safe as boiled water” water that meets the strict standards for microbiologically safe drinking water set by the USEPA. The second stage is the Activated Carbon Filter, which removes remaining dirt, chlorine and organic impurities such as harmful pesticides. First, the water passes through the Sediment Filter, which removes fine and coarse particulate impurities/dirt. It also absorbs colour and odour caused by water to produce organic compounds. Then the water passes through the mesh filter, which ensures that the UV chamber does not have suspended/dirt particles.
What is Advance Alert System™?
The Advance Alert System of Classic UV+ G2 alerts you 15 days* in advance before your consumable expires, so you can replace it before the life of the GKK expires and the purifier stops working. For details, please refer to the LED indicator panel instructions.
Can I drink the first purification cycle of water from the Pureit Classic UV+ G2 Water Purifier?
No, the first 5~10 liters of water are recommended when the new Classic UV+ G2 purifier is installed, and also whenever the GKK is replaced. Only 3-5 minutes will be needed.
Can I open and service my purifier?
It is not recommended to open and service purifier by an individual. Call Pureit helpline if
you face any issue which requires servicing and opening of the purifier.
What should I do if any part of the purifier is broken?
Please call the Pureit helpline number. PureIT technicians will visit your house and guide you
on the repairs required. There will be a nominal visiting charge and you would need to buy
the parts required.
What should I do if water pressure at my home is less than 5 PSI?
Technicians will suggest you to purchase a booster pump, so that pressure of input water
will be appropriate for functioning of the purifier.

- Do not plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands. Ensure the plug isn’t wet while plugging in, or plugging out to avoid risks such as electrical shocks or fire. Plug the power cord in the right size socket to avoid sparks.
- Do not try to open the purifier for any reason. This can be done only by the qualied company personnel or authorized agent.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced and not used.
- Do not light candles / diya on the purifier. Do not keep heavy or sharp objects, e.g. Radio etc. on the purifier.
- In case you notice any smoke or burning smell from your purifier, please switch off the power, unplug the cord, turn-of Ball Valve and call us at 1800-210-1000.
- Please dispose the used consumables like the Germkill Kit along with the other household waste through the municipal disposal system.
- Do not use water not intended for drinking in Pureit System e.g. from abandoned or abused water bodies or water resources in which human, animal or industrial wastes are disposed or water that is extremely acidic or alkaline.
- The output water may continue to have fora which is harmless and pose no health hazard to the normal healthy adults and children.
- Always rely on the Advance Alert SystemTM warning to change the Germkill Kit (GKK). Auto Shut-off is the only additional assurance of safety.
